So a few years back in our old house, I painted a chalkboard on our dining room wall…you can read about it here.
When we moved into our new house, I decided that I could not live without another wall chalkboard.
I quickly purchased some chalkboard paint and got started…
AT my last house, I did a distressed white paint on some trim molding around the edges, but this time around I wanted a little different look….
I took some rustic fence boards and lightly stained them. Then I cut the edges to 45 degree angles and used a nail gun to attach them to the wall.
I love the look of it and it is now being used as a place that I can hang up my girls school work!
